My family and I were planning to have one last outdoor activity before summer ends. I was asking my kids what they want to do, it seems that they cannot agree on one outdoor activity, the boys wanted to go hiking or camping, the girls wanted a picnic or visit their grandparents, things were getting a little out of hand when suddenly my youngest daughter suggested to go to the beach.  And finally, the children all said yes.  When the outdoor activity was already settled, I asked them to go their rooms and pack up things they will need for the activity.  The children hurriedly went upstairs and I was left alone thinking of other things to take along our trip.

My husband and I agreed to bring one of our portable garages; the extreme heat condition might damage our new van.  So, we instantly placed it at the back of the van, we also brought pop up canopies, because a beach umbrella will not suffice.  Pop up canopies are really suitable for outdoor activities since they are easily put up, and have a wider area than beach umbrellas.  We also thought of borrowing one of my sister’s party tents, but thought otherwise.  One pop up canopy would be sufficient for us, since most of the time the kids would be in the water anyway.  When everything was set, we headed for the beach and looked forward for a great time.
