My husband and I were not the rich with lots of money to spare, we belong to the average family group, with a few extra cash to spend.  With three children all studying, there wasn’t that much extra cash.  Our children were our first priority.  And whatever extra cash we have, is saved for whatever additional things we needed at home.

We were on such a tight budget that makes shopping more difficult since you have to maximize your money and look for items which are cheaper.  When our old tv set broke down, we went out and spent hours looking for cheap tvs.  Our mp3 players, dvd players and home theatre systems that we previously had, were all bought on mall sales.  Though we really had to exert extra effort and time to search for items on sale, but it pays off since we were able to get quality items that are just within the budget.
