Author: Acne is an infection that causes tissue inflammation and pus production that enlarges the pores of the skin. Most of the time acne pops before healing which exposes damaged tissue in the enlarged pores. These heal over time but sometimes scar tissue, instead of normal skin tissue, is formed in the healing wound. This cause a permanent scar. Thus, acne scar removal or lessening in appearance can be done by abrasive compounds.
