Author: Steven Gerrard, the current Liverpool captain has exposed his hidden desire of winning the Premier League trophy. He said that he is desperate to win the championship by any means.
The Merseysiders have begun their new operation with the game against Tottenham Hotspur. Their main star, the captain of them has considered this as the start of their premier league championship mission. Time is running out for Gerrard to get the ultimate opportunity of adding a Premier League winner’s medal in his collection.
Liverpool haven’t won this league title in England. Last year, they have finished with the second position after remaining on top of the table for a certain period of time. This year, club captain Gerrard says that he wants to win the league anyhow. He aims to do that with his fellow team-mates in this season.
There is a prolonged gap since Liverpool won this championship. If they can win the trophy this year, that would be a tremendous experience for all the supporters and players of Liverpool.
Despite losing two games in the first month of their new campaign, club manager Rafa Benitez also insists that, Liverpool still have the opportuniy of winning the Premier League championship trophy.
